“Saya Gay,saya Ok”
I certainly believed that most of the Facebook users or those who have read newspapers the last few days will be very familiar with this soothing and “motivational” words. These words actually belong to Mr.Azwan Ismail in his brave and honest conffesion of being a strong and self-confident GAY,which publicized widely on the internet. When I watched this video on Youtube, I managed to go through some comments laid down on that page.Despite some “maki hamun” from the “undisciplined” Malaysian Muslims,I noticed some of it did championing the gay right. They had even argued that being gay is listed within the catalogue of the rights of human being, and pointed out the Declaration of The Human Rights to advocate their statement.I didn’t bother much about their claim as the Declaration they uttered was modelled on the west and didn’t really fit the Islamic worldview. But nonetheless, things that shocked me is when some pointed that Islam agreed upon the gay right as it is part of some unavoidable diseases that infected the “unlucky” person. Is it true that Islam allowed this immoral sexual attitude??Here are some dalil that perhaps will make things clear
“If two men among you are guilty of lewdness, punish them both. If they repent and amend, Leave them alone; for Allah is Oft-returning, Most Merciful.”-quran 4:16
“We also (sent) Lut: He said to his people: "Do ye commit lewdness such as no people in creation (ever) committed before you? For ye practise your lusts on men in preference to women : ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds. And his people gave no answer but this: they said, "Drive them out of your city: these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure!" But we saved him and his family, except his wife: she was of those who legged behind. And we rained down on them a shower (of brimstone): Then see what was the end of those who indulged in sin and crime!”-Quran 7:80
“Of all the creatures in the world, will ye approach males, And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing (all limits)!" They said: "If thou desist not, O Lut! thou wilt assuredly be cast out!" He said: "I do detest your doings. O my Lord! deliver me and my family from such things as they do!" So We delivered him and his family,- all Except an old woman who lingered behind. Then afterward We destroyed the others. We rained down on them a shower (of brimstone): and evil was the shower on those who were admonished (but heeded not)!”-Quran 26:125
“We also sent) Lut (as a messenger): behold, He said to his people, "Do ye do what is shameful though ye see (its iniquity)? Would ye really approach men in your lusts rather than women? Nay, ye are a people (grossly) ignorant! But his people gave no other answer but this: they said, "Drive out the followers of Lut from your city: these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure!" Then We saved him and his household save his wife; We destined her to be of those who stayed behind. And We rained down on them a shower (of brimstone): and evil was the shower on those who were admonished (but heeded not)!”-Quran 27:54
“And (remember) Lut: behold, he said to his people: "Ye do commit lewdness, such as no people in Creation (ever) committed before you. "Do ye indeed approach men, and cut off the highway?- and practise wickedness (even) in your councils?" But his people gave no answer but this: they said: "Bring us the Wrath of Allah if thou tellest the truth." He said: "O my Lord! help Thou me against people who do mischief!" When Our Messengers came to Abraham with the good news, they said: "We are indeed going to destroy the people of this township: for truly they are (addicted to) crime."-Quran 29:28
Here are some traditions for our beloved prophet regading this issue:
“Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The Prophet cursed effeminate(1) men; those men who are in the similitude (assume the manners of women) and those women who assume the manners of men, and he said, "Turn them out of your houses." The Prophet turned out such-and-such man, and 'Umar turned out such-and-such woman.”-Bukhari
“Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The Prophet cursed effeminate men and those women who assume the similitude (manners) of men. He also said, "Turn them out of your houses." He turned out such-and-such person out, and 'Umar turned out such-and-such person.” Bukhari
“Narated By Abdullah ibn Abbas : The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: If you find anyone doing as Lot's people did, kill the one who does it, and the one to whom it is done.”-Abu Daud
“Narated By Abdullah ibn Abbas : If a man who is not married is seized committing sodomy, he will be stoned to death.”-Abu Daud
“Whoever is found conducting himself in the manner of the people of Lot, kill the doer and the receiver. “-Tirmidhi
“It was narrated that Ibn Abbaas said: “The Prophet Muhammed (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "... cursed is the one who has intercourse with an animal, cursed is the one who does the action of the people of Loot."- Narrated by Ahmad, 1878: Classed as saheeh by Shaykh al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’, no. 5891
So does it clear already to you??Now observed these comments from the Islamic sholars:
“Undoubtedly the sin of homosexuality is one of the worst sins; indeed, it is one of the major sins (kabaa’ir) that Allaah has forbidden. Allaah destroyed the people of Loot (peace be upon him) with the most terrifying kinds of punishment because they persisted in their sin and made this evil action commonplace and acceptable among themselves. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): [Quotes Qur'an 11:82-83,Qur'an 11:83, and Qur'an 54:37]
[...]
Imaam Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:
It was reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Kill the one who does it and the one to whom it is done.” (Reported by the four authors of Sunan. Its isnaad is saheeh. At-Tirmidhi said it is a hasan hadeeth).
Abu Bakr al-Siddeeq judged in accordance with this, and he wrote instructions to this effect to Khaalid, after consulting with the Sahaabah. ‘Ali was the strictest of them with regard to that. Ibn al-Qasaar and our shaykh said: the Sahaabah agreed that [the person who does homosexual acts] should be killed, but they differed as to how he should be killed. Abu Bakr al-Siddeeq said that he should be thrown down from a cliff. ‘Ali (may Allaah be pleased with him) said that a wall should be made to collapse on him. Ibn ‘Abbaas said, they should be killed by stoning. This shows that there was consensus among them that [the person who does homosexual acts] should be killed, but they differed as to how he should be executed. This is similar to the ruling of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) concerning the person who has intercourse with a woman who is his mahram [incest], because in both cases intercourse is not permitted under any circumstances. Hence the connection was made in the hadeeth of Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him) who reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “Whoever you find doing the deed of the people of Loot, kill them.” And it was also reported that he (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever has intercourse with a woman who is his mahram, kill him.” And according to another hadeeth with the same isnaad, “Whoever has intercourse with an animal, kill him and kill the animal with him.” (Narrated by Ahmad, 2420; Abu Dawood, 4464; al-Tirmidhi, 1454; al-Haakim, 4/355).
This ruling is in accordance with the ruling of sharee’ah, because the worse the haraam action is, the more severe the punishment for it. Having intercourse in a manner that is not permissible under any circumstances is worse than having intercourse in a manner which may be permitted in some circumstances, so its punishment is more severe. This was stated by Ahmad in one of the two reports narrated from him. (Zaad al-Ma’aad, part 5, p. 40-41).
The same applies to the sin of lesbianism. There is no doubt among the fuqahaa’ that lesbianism is haraam and is a major sin, as stated by al-Haafiz Ibn Hajar (may Allaah have mercy on him). (Al-Mawsoo’ah al-Fiqhiyyah, part 24, p. 251).
With regard to the specific type of punishment mentioned in the question – stoning to death – this kind of punishment is for the adulterer who is married. The shar’i punishment for the crime of homosexuality is execution – by the sword, according to the most correct view – as was narrated in the discussion above about the differences among the scholars as to how this execution should be carried out. As far as lesbianism is concerned, there is no hadd for it, but it is subject to ta’zeer [unspecified punishment to be determined at the discretion of the qaadi]. (al-Mawsoo’ah al-Fiqhiyyah, part 24, p. 253).”- Sheikh Muhammed Salih Al-Munajjid, Islam Q&A, Fatwa No. 5177(2)
Now what do you think??Even the bible prohibited Homosexual, as the bible says in the book of Leviticus 20:13:
“If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a
woman, both of them have committed an abomination:
they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall
be upon them.” - King James version
Need to think some more??
Homosexual in the light of science
According to the article “Born or Bred” written by Robert Knight(click here to see full text),he had concluded that gene is not the factor that cause someone to tuurn into a gay. Here are some extract of his reports:
“In October 2003, the journal Molecular Brain Research published a study by UCLA researchers indicating that sexual identity is genetic. Reuters reported it this way: “Sexual identity is wired into the genes, which discounts the concept that homosexuality and transgender sexuality are a choice, California researchers reported.” A number of other media outlets picked up on this theme, creating the impression that this study was yet one more piece of evidence for a genetic theory of homosexuality.
The trouble is, the study doesn’t say anything about homosexuality. All it does is support a widely accepted theory about hormones and gender. Here is Princeton Professor Dr. Jeffrey Satinover’s assessment:
“The research is a decent piece of basic science and confirms what geneticists have long
known must be the case: That the hormonal milieu that causes sexual differentiation
between males and females is itself determined by genes, in mice as in men. This comes
as no surprise.
But this research says absolutely nothing about homosexuality or transsexualism and any
who claim it does are either ill-informed about genetics, or if not, are deliberately abusing
their scientific knowledge and or credentials in the service of politics – in precisely the
same way that Soviet-era geneticists such as Lysenko did – either in the naïve hope that
distortion of the truth can produce a better society or out of fear for their career prospects.
In either case they should be roundly rebuked for doing so.”
“In 1993, a group of medical researchers at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) led by Dr. Dean H. Hamer released a study of 40 pairs of brothers that linked homosexuality to the X chromosome. The research, published in Science, reported that 33 of the pairs of brothers had DNA markers in the chromosome region known as Xq28.
The study won an enormous amount of media attention, and Hamer’s own activities as a
homosexual activist within NCI were ignored when Hamer offered interviews only when
reporters agreed not to identify him as a homosexual.
But even Hamer tempered his enthusiasm about the research results.
We knew that the genes were only part of the answer,” he said in a speech given in Salt
“We assumed the environment also played a role in sexual orientation, as it
does in most, if not all behaviors”
In a later interview, Hamer said, “Homosexuality is not purely genetic.…[E]nvironmental
factors play a role. There is not a single master gene that makes people gay. …I don’t think we will ever be able to predict who will be gay.”
Advice
Being a gay is haram,
The passion that u have towards people with the same gender, is a test
Against this feelings and struggle to obey God’s law, is JIHAD(3)
Be strong my brothers and sisters..your struggle will be rewarded .. J
(1)effiminate literally means tried to follow the nature of other gender, usually women,so in this context, commiting homosexual, like gay for instance,is an action of effiminating the women

ReplyDeletesalaam adik imran. ;)
ReplyDeletetak berkesempatan nak baca sume hujah2 anda, tapi subhanallah, mantoopp...! ;)
tapi kan saya terfikir... adilkah kita nak hukum mereka ni, sedangkan mereka tak faham pon in the first place knapa benda2 yg mereka buat tu haram..?
In fact kat Astro pon ada je tunjuk..
Hayya..!
betul...my post is actually 2 clarify where islam stand on this issue..sbb kt komen uew bnyak yg ckp islam ini xmmbebankan so ftrahnya untk mnusia spt ini dbnarkan untk mneruskan aktviti mrk...this is not some kind of insult kpd mrk yg trlibat...sbb sy rser yg buat tu pown tahu bnder tue haram,tp they dont have the strength to against their own will..i noe some from this people,n i must sat they did struggle a lot to deal with their own-selves..hahaha...
ReplyDeletei guess i noe wat u mean..the approach is not practical if we use the words from al quran or the bible while they themselves dont believe or have faith in it.. physiological approach perhaps will do..but how??kne tnya safwan sabri nie..hhahah
